BLOODSTOCK ANNOUNCES MAJOR 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS FOR 2026

Bloodstock Open Air has unveiled further details of its 25th anniversary edition, with organisers promising one of the biggest weekends in the festival's history.

The independent metal festival, which takes place at Catton Park in Derbyshire this August, has already generated significant buzz following the announcement of heavy metal legends Judas Priest and Saxon among its headline acts. Festival organisers say the anniversary event will feature expanded site attractions, exclusive merchandise and special retrospective exhibits celebrating a quarter-century of Bloodstock history.

Alongside established names including Lamb of God, Body Count and Black Label Society, the festival will continue its long-running Metal 2 The Masses programme, providing a platform for emerging underground acts from across the UK. Organisers have described the anniversary event as a celebration of "the community that built Bloodstock from a small gathering into one of Europe's premier independent metal festivals."

Tickets remain available through the festival's official website, although several camping packages have already sold out.
