Get Your Music Heard

XLN Radio is always looking for great new music from independent artists, bands, producers, singer-songwriters, and creators from around the world.

If you're creating original music and looking for airplay, we'd love to hear what you're working on.

Selected tracks will be added to the XLN Radio music library and may be featured across our programmes, specialist shows, DJ broadcasts, and station playlists, helping introduce your music to our growing audience.

How to Submit

Submission Requirements

Please ensure:

All tracks are submitted in MP3 format.
Audio files are of good quality and suitable for broadcast.
Files are correctly labelled.
You own the rights to submit the material or have permission from the rights holder.

Recommended file naming format:

Artist Name - Track Title.mp3

Example:

The Electric Minds - Midnight City.mp3

Want Your Track Considered for a Specific Show?

If you would like your music to be considered for a particular XLN Radio programme, please include the show name in the subject line of your email.

For example:

Subject: Submission for Electric Eden

Subject: Submission for Late Night Anarchy

While we cannot guarantee placement on any specific programme, including the show name helps ensure your music reaches the most relevant presenters and producers.

Artist Information

To help us promote your music, please include as much of the following information as possible:

Artist or band name
Track title(s)
Genre(s)
Country or location
Social media links
Website link
Streaming platform links
Short artist biography
Upcoming releases, tours, gigs, or projects

We also welcome additional promotional materials such as:

Press releases
Artist photos
Album artwork
Promotional graphics
Electronic Press Kits (EPKs)
Media packs

The more information you provide, the easier it is for our presenters and producers to introduce and promote your music to listeners.

Station IDs Welcome

While not required, we would love artists to submit a short Station ID alongside their music.

A Station ID is simply a short recorded message such as:

"Hi, we're The Electric Minds, and you're listening to XLN Radio."

"Hello, this is Sarah Jones, and you're tuned to XLN Radio."

These short messages may be played regularly between programmes, during music shows, and throughout the station schedule.

Station IDs help listeners connect with artists, increase recognition of your name, and provide additional exposure beyond the airing of your music. They also help strengthen the relationship between artists, listeners, and the station.

Participation is entirely optional, but always greatly appreciated.

What Happens to Your Music?

Once accepted, your tracks may be added to the XLN Radio Music Library.

This means your music can be:

Featured on presenter-led shows
Included in specialist music programmes
Used in themed playlists
Selected by DJs and programme hosts
Rotated across station programming
Featured in future broadcasts and promotions

The XLN Radio Music Library is used by presenters and producers across the station, allowing your music to remain available for future programming opportunities and continued exposure to our audience.

Our goal is to support independent music and help artists reach new listeners through regular airplay and promotion.

Submission of music grants XLN Radio permission to broadcast your submitted tracks as part of our programming and promotional activities.

Content Standards

XLN Radio welcomes music from all genres and backgrounds. However, we reserve the right to refuse or remove content that contains:

Hate speech
Racist content
Discriminatory language
Harassment or targeted abuse
Incitement to violence
Illegal content
Content promoting criminal activity
Extremist material
Material that infringes copyright or intellectual property rights

All submissions are reviewed before being added to our library.
